We've been very excited to check out this new 7.3-acre Vancouver Waterfront Park since we first heard about it a few months ago. This community park is part of a 32-acre, high density, mixed use urban development, along the Columbia River. Portions of the park are still under construction, and a water feature is going to be opening in the spring.
The Columbia River Renaissance Trail connects Vancouver Waterfront Park to Wintler Park, which we visited previously during a hot summer day.

After our visit to the park we headed to a street market a few blocks away for food, coffee and some live entertainment.
