Coyote Point - San Mateo, CA




We recently discovered a new area in this park dedicated to Merchant Marines. We had never seen it before because we actually had to go off-roading on steep hills in the wheelchair to get there, The land for this park was at one time owned by the U.S. Government for use as a Merchant Marines Cadet School.

Apparently, there was an amusement park here at some point. Unfortunately, it only lasted a few years and was closed after being partially destroyed by fire.
